Story Song

Plot: This is a story of a man who is the baby of the family, who finds out that his mother is severely ill, and will probably not make it through the night. He's out of town, but he rushes home to be by her side, only to arrive too late.

Characters:
Baby of the family (speaker)
siblings (family)
Mom

Conflict:
"The baby" of the family doesnt live at home, and gets a call saying that his mother is dying and that he needs to come home. His family tells him that is mother needs to see him. He drives all the way home, speeding the whole entire time. But even then, he still arrives too late. He never gets to say goodbye.

Setting:
At first it shows that he moves around all the time. It shows that he never stays in one place for a long while. It says "I got a call in Alabama, said come on home to Louisiana" cause thats is where his mom is at.

  1. What a heartbreaking story! Oh man, way to choose a song with intense emotion. With this somber tale there's lots of potential for writing a blurb and adaptation.

    This was a good song choice. Like Genevive said, it had intense emotion, and I will definately be using it one of my blurbs.
